Policies, in plain English
Everything you agree to when you book or play with us, all in one place.
Booking & payments
- Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.
- Balance: The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your party. You can pay it online from your booking page.
- Non-refundable: Deposits and payments are non-refundable, including if you cancel or have fewer guests than planned.
- Rescheduling: You may ask to move your party. New dates depend on availability. Your payments carry over to the new date. Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the party may not be possible.
- Weekday parties and school, church or festival events are by request. We confirm within about a day, and nothing is charged until we approve it.
- Party length: Your party time starts at the booked start time. If guests arrive late, the end time stays the same. Extra time can be added on the day for $75 per 30 minutes if our schedule allows.
- Group size: Parties include up to 20 kids. For safety we rotate groups so the trailer never gets crowded inside.
- Travel: Free within 25 miles of Saltillo. Beyond that, $2 per mile one way. Town distances on the booking page are estimates. We confirm the exact fee and will contact you before charging any difference.
- Damage: Normal wear is on us. Damage caused on purpose or by misuse of equipment may be charged at repair or replacement cost.
- Gift cards and promo codes have no cash value, are non-refundable and can be used on any party or add-on until the balance is used up.
Weather, heat & safety
- Light rain is fine. Most of the play happens inside the trailer.
- Severe weather: For lightning, high winds, tornado or flood warnings, or icy roads, we will cancel for everyone's safety. We'll work with you to reschedule. If no new date works, you'll receive a credit for the amount you paid, good for 12 months.
- Heat: The trailer has a large fan but no air conditioning yet. On hot days we use shade, water breaks and shorter indoor sessions. If the heat index makes play unsafe, we may move play outdoors into the shade or pause it.
- Cold: In cold months, dress kids warmly. Outdoor heaters will be added as we grow.
- If our trailer or tow vehicle breaks down and we can't make your party, you can pick a new date or get a full refund of what you paid.
Play rules
- An adult stays responsible for each child the whole time. Our staff lead the play, but we are not a childcare service.
- Eye protection is required for every foam-dart game. No aiming at faces.
- No food, drinks or gum inside the trailer. Snack breaks happen outside.
- Sand stays in the sand pit. No throwing sand.
- Kids who are sick, feverish or contagious should sit this one out.
- Small parts in crafts and bricks are not for children who still put things in their mouths. Little ones play in the toddler-safe area.
- Our host may pause play or move a child to another activity if needed for safety.
Site requirements
- A fairly level spot about 40 feet long with room to open the side door, such as a driveway, street-side spot or parking lot.
- You're responsible for any permission needed to park there, such as a church, school, HOA or city.
- No power outlet is needed. We bring battery power.
Event host agreement (waiver)
The person or organization who books us signs one short agreement online before the event. Guests don't sign anything. Your booking page has the link, or you can sign it here. Here is the full text:
Event Host Agreement, Release and Assumption of Risk
Please read carefully. This is a legal document that affects your rights.
This agreement is signed by the person or organization that booked Recreation Station LLC, a Mississippi limited liability company ("Recreation Station," "we" or "us"), for an event (the "Host," "I" or "me"). Guests do not sign anything. By signing, I agree to the following for my event:
1. Activities and risks
Activities may include climbing, crawling, soft play, building with bricks, ride-on toys, sand play, crafts with paint and small parts, dress-up, foam-dart blaster games and outdoor play. These involve risks, including slips, trips, falls, collisions, bumps, bruises, scrapes, sprains, broken bones, eye injuries, allergic reactions (including to sand, paint, craft materials or latex), heat-related illness, choking hazards from small parts for young children, and the spread of common illnesses. Some risks cannot be removed without changing the nature of play. I understand and accept these risks for my event.
2. Supervision is the Host's responsibility
Recreation Station staff lead activities but do not provide childcare. I agree that every child at my event will have a parent, guardian or responsible adult present who supervises them at all times, and that I will tell my guests about the play rules. Children will follow staff instructions, including wearing eye protection during foam-dart games. Staff may pause play or move a child to another activity for safety.
3. Informing guests
I will let guests' parents or guardians know that a mobile play trailer will be at the event, what activities are offered, and that their children take part at the parents' own risk and under their supervision. I will share any guest allergies or special needs I know about with Recreation Station before play starts.
4. Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Mississippi law, I release, waive and discharge Recreation Station LLC, its owners, members, employees, volunteers and agents from any and all claims for injury, illness, death, or loss or damage to property that I, my children or my organization may have arising from the event, including claims caused by ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
5. Indemnity for guest claims
I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Recreation Station LLC and the people listed above from claims brought by my guests or anyone attending my event, to the fullest extent permitted by law, except claims caused by Recreation Station's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Site and property
I confirm I have permission to host the trailer at the event address and that the parking area is reasonably safe and level. I am responsible for damage caused on purpose or by misuse of equipment by my guests.
7. Emergencies
In an emergency, Recreation Station staff may call 911 and seek emergency medical care for any participant. Parents or guardians present remain responsible for any treatment costs.
8. Photos
We only use event photos in our marketing if you allow it below, and we never post a child whose parent asks us not to. You can change your mind at any time by contacting us.
9. General
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. I agree that my electronic signature is the legal equivalent of my handwritten signature, and that I am authorized to sign for any organization named.
I have read this agreement, I understand it, and I am signing it voluntarily as the event host.
Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to run your party: your name, contact details, party address, and any guest allergy or special-needs notes you choose to share. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
We use your information to plan and run your event, send reminders, and keep required safety and waiver records. We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as payment processing and website hosting, or when required by law.
Photos: We only post event photos when the host allows it, and never a child whose parent asks us not to. To remove a photo, contact us and we will take it down.
Children's information: We don't collect information from or about individual children beyond what the event host chooses to share.
Retention: We keep booking and waiver records for as long as needed for safety, insurance and legal reasons, then delete them.
Your choices: You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time using our contact form.
Terms of service
By booking with or using this website, you agree to these terms and the policies above. Prices, packages and availability may change, but the price shown when you book is the price you pay. We try to keep this site accurate, but if we make a pricing mistake, we'll contact you to fix it before charging.
To the extent allowed by law, Recreation Station LLC's total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Lee County, Mississippi.
